Kharisma Kids operational hours
Before School Care runs on every school day from 6:45am to 8:45am Breakfast is provided and is included in the cost.
After School Care runs on every school day from 3pm to 6:15pm Afternoon snack is provided and is incuded in the cost. Student Free Days are run on a needs basis from 7*am to 6*pm We ask for bookings in advance to see whether sufficient numbers allow us to operate. Vacation Care - operates during school holiday periods 7am to 6pm

Xplor Home appWe use Xplor for our system software. Parents will need to download the Xplor Home app after the Enrolment has been completed. The app allows bookings to be made, notifying staff of absences, downloading your statements, viewing observations, registering Hub guests.
Payment of Fees Our service uses Direct Debit for all fees.Direct Debit is provided by Debit Success.Parents will need to set up their direct debit using the Xplor Home website. http://login.myxplor.com or from the Xplor Home app. For help with setting up direct debit click here. Other Fees Late Pick up fee:-$2 per minute is charged for pick ups after the the closure time (6pm VC, 6:15pm ASC) Administration Fee:-$5 is charged for each of the following:- -Child not signed In -Child not Signed Out -Non booking for attendance -Reminder notification by email/text of declined fee transaction. Booking Types (Before and After School)Permanent/Term Booked Care - Bookings that are made for the whole term or school year by either emailing your booking to kkids@sfsylynbrook.catholic.edu.au or text to 0411 295 273. These bookings are permanent for the entire period. They can be for 1 to 5 days a week. Casual bookings can be added via the Xplor app. No cancellations. Allowable Absences apply. Approved Absences apply with appropriate paperwork. Casual Booked Care - Bookings made at any time before and during the current term via the Xplor app. 48 hours notice is required for Cancellations. Allowable Absences apply. Approved Absences apply with appropriate paperwork. Bookings (Vacation Care)Bookings are essential as it allows us to cater and to staff the program to the correct levels as required under the current Regulations. Parents can book in via the Xplor app. Although we do not charge for casual bookings, we do ask that parents book in before a designated date (usually the second last Friday of the term) so we can ensure we have enough resources and food for each day. We can limit bookings once the program starts if we do not have the resources to allow more bookings.
No Booking?Children that turn up to the Before and After School Care without a prior booking.These children may only be accepted if vacancies exist, therefore cannot be guaranteed a place. Parent’s ResponsibilityIt is the parent’s responsibility to notify the service (through our Xplor Home app) when children are going to be absent. If a child fails to show for a booked After School Care session, staff will try and locate them in the school and school grounds. If they are not found the parents will be called and notified of this. If the child’s whereabouts is still not known, processes will be put in place to report the missing child to the Department of Education and Training.
Allowable AbsencesOnce a child has been booked into a session, that session must be paid for regardless of if the child attends or is absent. The Commonwealth will allow up to 42 absence days without supporting documentation. Your CCS will still be paid for by the Commonwealth for those 42 absences.
